To the lowlife who just sideswiped my car on Westnedge:  I hope there are cockroaches in your cornflakes tomorrow.  I hope that wherever you were on your way to burns down, and that on your way to call the fire department you get stabbed.

urban living is additive sculpture,
rural is subtractive.

I just finished my (looming, heavy-handed and sweat salt crusted) "statement of purpose." It isn't going to last, I know, but I have not felt this good for months.

I've been hearing an unusual amount of complaints concerning bodily aches and pains, lately.  Students have now hit the wall, people crane their necks and lean toward the holidays; also, the weather seems to bring a lot of drama.
So I'm putting this out there:
who doesn't like to feel good?Collapse )

What's creepier than a sonogram?  Here's what:   people who use a sonogram for their facebook picture.
I make few pledges, but there is one I can make, to those who might inquire about my health via internet:  I will never expose you to pictures of my (or my partner's--in this case, the couple shares the profile picture) under-siege uterus.
Next time I get a part of my body x-rayed, I have a mind to mail it to them "here's what's new with me; just thought I'd say hi!"
